The 2010 Track Season is Here!

The 2010 track and field season in Eugene is stacked with excitement! With everything culminating at the NCAA Track and Field National Championships, June 9-12. From up and coming hopefuls to the world's best, Eugene is the place to watch premier track and field meets.

For anyone that has experienced the electrifying atmosphere of Hayward Field or jogged along Eugene's running trails where Olympic-caliber athletes train, it's not surprising that Eugene is called a runner's paradise, a mecca for track and field, or Track Town, USA.  

From the legend of Steve Prefontaine to the waffle iron used to create rubber-spiked souls for Nike's earliest running shoes, Eugene's history, legends and legacy in the world of track and field, and running, is steeped with a rich culture unlike any place else.  Ranked among the best places for running, watching track and field events and for just being an all-out sports fan, Eugene is consistently noted for its athletic amenities and spirit.

Being a spectator, however, is optional. Join the camaraderie of fellow running enthusiasts by participating in one of a number of community runs. Or, lace up for the Eugene Marathon or All-Comers' Track and Field Meet.
