Eugene, Ore. - Businesses, organizations and individuals throughout Lane County were honored for their dedication and outstanding contributions to Lane County's visitor industry. Travel Lane County held its 2010 Visitor Industry Celebration dinner Tuesday, June 15 at the Holiday Inn in Springfield. The evening marked Travel Lane County's 30th year, as well as the City of Springfield's 125th anniversary.
The following awards were presented:

The project was a collaboration of the National Geographic Society's Center for Sustainable Destination, Travel Oregon, Rural Development Initiatives and numerous public lands, economic and tourism-related agencies.
Mount Pisgah Arboretum was honored with the Eugene, Cascades & Coast Enrichment Award. The Arboretum was recognized for its preservation of native habitats, educational programs and year-round community events.
