Fishing Spots

Lane County's diverse geography offers a range of amazing fishing spots from the mighty Cascade Mountains and their iconic rivers to serene lakes within 60 minutes of Eugene and the salty surf of the Oregon Coast.

With 249 lakes, eight rivers and direct access to the Pacific Ocean, Lane County is the best place to escape for your next fishing trip. Come ride the same rapids on which Prince Helfrich and Leroy Pruitt designed the now-famous McKenzie River drift boat in the 1920s, or check out some of the best kept secrets below. Don't forget your fishing license!
